Helpful Leadership

Early in my marriage, I learned a valuable lesson: Help is what someone needs from you, not what you want to do for them.

As a leader, it is your responsibility to take care of your team. If you want to be helpful, ask them what they need. Don't assume to know. We often default to what we are most comfortable with, but that may not be what is needed.
