Life Is A Theme Park

There are two basic types of people at theme parks: vide chasers and ride crushers.

The vibe chasers are happy people watching, soaking up the ambiance, feeling nostalgic, enjoying the atmosphere and finding joy in the details that allow for a moment of escapism.

The ride crushers are out to get in as many rides as possible. They view every ride not ridden as a failure of the experience. When the gates open, the ride crushers hustle to get to the popular rides first.

Neither experience the park the right way because there is no right way. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. The vibe chaser thinks the ride crusher misses out on all the details and opportunity to relax. The ride crusher thinks the vibe chaser is wasting time, money, and the thrills of the day.

Each of us are probably a little column A and a little column B, but we dance each day with the need to vibe chase or ride crush our life.
