7 Questions Effective Leaders Ask
Asking good questions is a superpower that every effective leader uses. Not only does asking questions assist with listening to understand, it is also a great way to demonstrate care, interest, empathy, and build relationships with other members of the team.
Here are 7 questions I use when meeting in both group and 1-on-1 meetings.
- What are we doing well?
- What are we not doing well?
- What should we do more?
- What should we do less?
- What are you not doing yet that you are interested in doing?
- What aspirations do you have that align with our vision?
- How can I support you in realizing those goals?
