Avoid Limiting Ways To Enhance Experiences

 

Every leader should make clear what each member of their team is authorized to do at any moment to either enhance or repair an experience.

Dollars, time, and patience are all finite resources. They have real value and can certainly be part of your "enchantment plan." However, identifying a resource that is in abundance that can also be given is, potentially, even more valuable.

Grace, the ability to allow someone to learn from their experiences (mistakes) is abundant. There is no shortage of it. You can give it away without fear of running out.

Grace is particularly valuable if your team is in the business of helping others (i.e. teachers, trainers, etc.).
